    Template for a farewell message

    Hey Everyone!

After working X wonderful years at (insert here: current company), I’m leaving to start my newest adventure at (new company) working as (insert role). This was a hard decision to make because I loved working at (current company).

But before I leave, I want you to know that I appreciate the opportunity to work at (current company). (Insert here what makes the company special and what you will miss about it) I will never forget the amazing backgrounds my colleagues share, the unique challenges we went through, and the fun times I’ve had.

I would especially like to thank (insert colleague’s name) for (mentorship, support, etc., and be as detailed as you can when explaining their impact without sharing private information). (And anyone else who has made a meaningful impact on our career)

Thank you all for being great colleagues! I look forward to seeing you all again!

Please stay in touch with me on Linkedin (or if you aren’t active on Linkedin mention the other mediums they can contact you. I highly suggest you DO NOT list your personal email or phone.)

    Sincerely,
    (Your Name)
